"Evil MEN praise God to gain power. Hitler was a friend of the Pope and a good catholic"
Garbage. Hitler called Christianity the "Jewish mistake".

Yes, and there have been some recent histories based upon his writings that clearly show that he was a neo-Pagan. He used Christianity as a veil so that the German people would not know that he intended to replace the Church with resurrected Norse paganism. He hoped to eliminate all vestiges of Judeo-Christian beliefs from Germany.

These are quotes:
I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so.
( Adolf Hitler, from John Toland [Pulitzer Prize winner], Adolf Hitler, New York: Anchor Publishing, 1992, p. 507. )
I say: my Christian feeling tells me that my lord and savior is a warrior. It calls my attention to the man who, lonely and surrounded by only a few supporters, recognized what they [the Jews] were, and called for a battle against them, and who, by God, was not the greatest sufferer, but the greatest warrior. .
( Adolf Hitler, in a speech delivered on April 12, 1922; from Charles Bracelen Flood, Hitler: The Path to Power, Boston, Mass: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1989, pp. 261-262. )

Ah, as my first official post on this wonderland of opinion and hostility, I shall comment on religion... hmm... I don't understand how anyone can say that religion is a crock, or even that religious people are gullible. Also, I enjoy how pretty much the only religious person of note mentioned on this forum was Hitler, why not mention some other notable Christians, or are all Christians truly bad? How about that guy... oh what was his name... you know, that guy who fought for a minority's rights... oh right, Martin Luther King Jr. I believe that this is a quote of his, "We will prevail because we have the ammunition of determination, the weapon of courage, the breastplate of righteousness, and the whole armor of God,". Now, the point of writing this is not to say that people aren't entitled to their opinions (by all means, continue posting), I am simply stating mine. So please, someone realize that even if you dislike Christianity, there is no reason to say that we are gullible. How many people think that Mr. King was told by influencial people that he was wrong? Gullible means that you believe things too easily, it seems to me that there are plenty of Christians out there that stick to their beliefs stalwartly, oh... right, that's what Christianity is based on! A person who bases their life on sticking to a belief doesn't just turn around and believe anything, therefore, they aren't gullible.
