Last spring I planted two rows of birds, but nothing grew. Maybe it's the fertilizer....

(best Elvis impression)

Thank you, thankyouverymuch!

LOL!

I'd drunk almost a whole cup of coffee out on the patio before I realized the tree was full of waxwings.

(OK... So I'm not the brightest crayon in the box first thing in the morning!)

I cheated and downloaded Picassa 2. I'll keep trying the other way though. I think this is a bit smaller. I really enjoy seeing the Nuthatches and their antics.

I had bird feeders for years before I ever saw one. Now I have two pairs and a little Nuthatch called a Red-breasted. He's much smaller, size of Chickadee. That one flies right by my head and face, as if to be doing it on purpose, back and forth to the feeder. Funny little guy!

If you want to make a good size picture to post, after the quotations marks on the URL address add this: height="130" width="150"> That makes a good size.

Well,I better get some new bird feeders to attract more species of birds.
I haven't had a bird feeder for the last few years, because it takes time to fill them and I haven't had it.Now that my kids are older they can help out, since they are more responsible now to not forget to check the feeders.

This is going to be my project for this year.

I have grapes and filberts in my back yard, that seem to attract birds, but not nearly as much or many different species you have in your yards with feeders.

Last winter I had a nuthatch that was a bully:) He was so funny to watch, because he would come down the tree that the feeder hung from. If there was another bird on it he would puff up, and you could tell by his mouth action that he was really scolding. The other bird would leave he'd jump over get himself something then leave. He would never share the feeder with other birds.

Thanks Becky. Is that before or after my tag line from picture host? what is a good size for a small to medium picture? I have pictures that would take up so much space that I can't post them.

I have seen a Nuthatch go after other Nuthatches. I think it's funny too!

Having a birdfeeder is great fun! If you can't get to filling it all the time that's fine. They will come when it's full :). I think it's great to have the kids help. They will enjoy it as much as you do. All animals love my son. My son had a Chickadee land on him in our backyard. We were doing yard work. I was in the front raking, my son in the back. I had to laugh because I asked my son, gee, how long were you standing so still a Chickadee could land on you? LOL
