For a fallen brother and sister in blue, Deputy Wayne Koester, Lake County Sheriff's Office, Florida and Officer Molly Suzanne Bowden, Columbia Police Department, Missouri.

As I held them close, I began to cry
Praying and hoping our friends would never die
I could see the whites of their eyes, as they held me tight
The wind whisked through their hair, as we saw the light
They cried no more as we fell to the ground
Their single tears, would never be found
Cry not my friends God will take you home
The Angels in Heaven will not be alone
You're both safe and well as a child to his mother

Good morning, Shotokan.

Thank you for bringing us the poem in memory of more fallen heros. It is a wonderful poem; thank you for sharing it with us.

Welcome to Amy's Place. We hope you will stop by often.
