Exactly..... 14 month runup to the war left lots of time to move them.. Question is, how much time do we have to find them..
Stepping out a moment here to ask a question. Wouldn't it be better to follow the WMD trail wherever it leads... Syria, Iran or scrapyards in the Netherlands.. perhaps even to Alqueda ships on the seas.... than to stay in Iraq for too long. I don't want to leave Iraq vulnerable, but frankly, the clock is ticking... We are bound by our word to do what was promised for Iraq, but we must protect our own country as well... doing both is possible, but I want to find those WMD's. For too long, congress critter said they were there... they did not disappear unless Ted Kennedy ate them.. We've got to find them. Does anyone feel the same way??

No. Because you have tunnel vision here. And I didn't post this article tonight with the time to re explain the entire war scenario to you. I posted it for archiving since it is on a site of interest.
Are war is not with Iraq. Iraq was a positioning tool. Our war is on terror which emcompases ALOT of other countries including ours.
Yes OURS!
The war is not against Islam. Although the extreme version is a part of it.
Iraq was for positioning and for base establishing.
Yes, Saddam had them - his lust for WMDs was great before and after the first Gulf War. Saddam never abandoned his Nuclear ,Chemical, and Biological weapon programs. Even the blind Blix found evidence that Saddam tried to put VX nerve agent into a weapon's platform. We knew Saddam had the following:
- One thousand tons of poison gas contained in 6,500 missing chemical bombs.
- Several thousand missing rockets warheads for carrying poison gas.
- 8,500 liters of anthrax and related materai to produce 5,000 liters more.
- Saddam illegally imported 300 rocket engines on other components for ballistic missiles.
- Conducted illegal tests for long-range missiles that Saddam was not suppose to have.
Saddam never cooperated with the international weapon inspectors, although, Blix congratulated the Iraqis on "process" of letting them look around.
During the 1980s, Saddam fooled the UN inspectors about his secret A-bomb weapons program, and he did it again in the 90s when he destroyed whole buildings to hide evidence.
Someone should know where in the desert the stuff is buried but I doubt he'll talk.

What is wrong with this picture?

Beyond the obvious, the stark absence of signs
pointing to Saddam and his evil, protestors
worldwide appear oblivious to who Saddam is,
what he has hid, and scarier yet, where he may
have hid it.
As one skeptical of Saddams goodness, with
documented information of murder and mayhem
against humanity, questions emerge. During the
Iran-Iraq war, where did the revealed 1,000 tons
of chemical agents go? And the 380 smuggled
rocket engines used for missile propellants and
control systems, why are they still unaccounted
for? Also, just where are the 6,500 missing
chemical rockets placed? Finally, no evidence of
the destruction of 8,500 liters of Anthrax, why? Is
it possible, that just one world-class protestor
might feel the necessity of posing such a question?
Or would that run contrary to their anti-American
reason for protest?
In viewing the incomplete picture portrayed by
protestors, one wonders if anyone questions
where the weapons of mass destruction have been
stored. Disappearance of such a quantity you
would think would bring inquiry. You would
think?
How many protestors are aware that even today,
three mysterious ships that are suspected of
carrying weapons of mass destruction have been
tracked over the past three months venturing into
the worlds oceans? The ships are clearly in
violation of maritime and international laws, for
they are maintaining radio silence and providing
no information of cargo or destination. Why no
signs questioning the ships and the violation of
laws? Certainly, the seriousness of such a
catastrophic scenario to environment and
civilization must be realized.
What is wrong with the picture portrayed by
protestors? Is it their public display for such an
evil person, misplaced outrage due to a lack of
knowledge, naivety, partisan politics, communist
influence, one or perhaps all?
Credibility to picture will come only when
protestors see Saddam as the evil one and protest
for his demise.
