Well, this movie BOMBED badly at the box office. Didn't even make the top 10. Most games to movies (yes, it was originally a game) sucked. Even Resident Evil (which I enjoyed) isn't that good. Fun movie, but I knew it wasn't that good of one.

With that being said, nice to see SOMEONE enjoy this movie. At least a movie like Resident Evil had SOME good reviews. This one, if you check Rotten Tomatoes, barely got ANY! 1% of all critics enjoyed it! Looks like a...ummm...wait for television event?

I have hopes that someone will do Halo and do it well....

Our local mall does
bargin shows early. I went
and it turned out that

it was only me!
I had a private showing
in a full size show

because the movie
had gotten such horrible
reviews. I didn't

know it was based on
a game, but it did capture
a comic book feel,

but no pathos like
in Spiderman with the guy's
old uncle dying.

I'm wondering if
that plays into why critics
hated the film so --

it's comic book-like,
but pre-Stan Lee comic book --
just thrills and action

without pretentious,
dark social commentary.
I might see it twice . . .
