I thought the film of "House of the Dead" managed to make some action scenes visually cool, but then I thought the movie got bogged down trying to explain the plot . . . "Alone in the Dark" kind of reminded me of some of the action in "House of the Dead," without the boring details. (Although I gather the film "Alone in the Dark" makes some big changes to the game's mythos -- the plot of the film isn't exactly the game's.) |
