Maybe you're like me and have opposed the Iraq war since before the shooting started -- not to the point of joining any peace protests, but at least letting people know where you stood.
You didn't change your mind when our troops swept quickly into Baghdad or when you saw the rabble that celebrated the toppling of the Saddam Hussein statue, figuring that little had been accomplished and that the tough job still lay ahead
Here is the thread I started. Stringer Bell is the name of a character on The Wire, one of my favorite TV shows. I posted a link to the above story and some commentary. I was not abrasive or attacking anybody. I wanted to carry a discussion with these folks. They deleted some of the posts I replied too first, one that linked to this site. And other posts that were just part of the discussion. Then they revoked my login and posting privileges.

It seems they are shielding themselves from something for a reason.
THey deleted all of my messages. Wow. I posted a reply stating I can see how people who had been repressed so long would cheer and cry to vote. I bet that message gets deleted as well.
It took the Iraqi elections to hammer home a fact that was established by our elections in November.
