The first report I saw on that was in an issue of JAMA in either the late '70s or early '80s. It was written by a doc who flew New York to London and had previously had difficulty sleeping. He took Halcion and had a couple of glasses of wine with dinner. He had total amnesia for the entire flight. He wrote it up as a case report basically to warn others about this interaction since it had not been reported on at that time.
I had a hell of a time sleeping on a flight to New Zealand 18 months ago. I'm going to try this the next time I fly. If I forget, I don't care. The movies are terrible anyway.

My one time flying first class:
I tore open the headphones bag, as is customary in Coach. I did not realize that there was a ziplock on the other end of the bag.
I had no idea what to do when they handed me that heated up, damp washcloth.
Now I know what was to follow if I had passed the first two phases of The Test in first class.

Gotta love that multi-purpose word "starkers" here... Stark nekkid and stark raving mad.
To: Still in Denial
"She was starkers, woke a passenger up, tried to get into bed with him, pulled open the blind and said, 'We're landing, get your clothes on,' even though we were more than four hours away from London." In the event of a water landing, Miss Boyle will need to hang onto someone with a bit of fat under his skin while we all swim the 1500 miles to shore.

Women who are unnaturally skinny have their breasts kinda deflate like that. She looks too young for the normal gravity droop, so I'd wager there's a amphetamine thing going on here.

"Movie beauty LARA FLYNN BOYLE..."
Beauty?!?!?!
Me thinks not! Scary-looking mutant chick - maybe.
But beauty? Not by what I'd call a reasonable standard.

At least that's what I do.

You are correct--he was a neurologist who flew to London for a meeting and did not know where he was or why he was there when he got off the flight. I would strongly recommend Ambien for a sleeping pill...works great and is safer than the benzos.

I'd wager there's a amphetamine thing going on here. Drug induced emaciation.

I had no idea what to do when they handed me that heated up, damp washcloth. Once upon a time in a galaxy far away, airlines even gave you those in coach. That was when people used to come off of packed airplanes saying "Man! That was a cattle car!" because they weren't used to it.

I fly quite often. How come there are never any naked babes on MY fights! It's not fair...

Representatives for George W. Bush are hoping to recruit actress Lara Flynn Boyle for campaigning duties, after she publicly declared her support for the American President. The former star of The Practice, 34, has gone against the grain of a large number of her Hollywood counterparts to pledge her support for the Republican leader.
She says, "I'm Irish Catholic, so a Democrat by blood. But I'm 100 per cent for Bush. I want my president to be like my agent: not afraid of people, but wants my best interest." And a Bush spokesman has welcomed the news, telling Us Weekly,
"If she's amenable, obviously we would try to find something interesting and useful for her to do."

I'm Irish Catholic, so a Democrat by bloodShe's not smart enough to be endorsing anyone.

Didn't she support Bush in '04? Maybe a plot to get back at her.
