Sorry that we missed seeing you. We hope to get there again in '09 but we may be able to swing a trip before then.
We did not get to do much sightseeing because of the weather. Being from California, we were not sure what to expect of the weather. :~)

April or May are good months to visit DC, It's not snowy and cold or is it unbearably hot either.
I wouldn't recommend coming to DC or Baltimore in July or August.
90 degree plus temps here at that time. UGH!
But we do get some nasty winters!
