We recycle a lot (and do some RV travel), so my wife and I have a '97 F-150 to haul things around. And a '98 Lumina.

That cracked me up - a "station wagon," all three tons of it.That probably had more to do with bureaucracy than reality. License plates for a "station wagon" cost a lot less than for a 3 ton truck with an integrated camper shell.

I live in Pasadena TX, it is just outside of Houston. I remember an elderly woman who owned a 1973 Pontiac tempest, unfortunately she would not sell it.

But the coolest car I ever had was a 1966 Mercury Comet Cyclone with a 390 engine!I had a 69 Cougar with a 351 Cleveland. Too much fun. A 71 Cutlass with a Rocket 350. Not bad. And a 99 Maxima SE that got me two tickets within the first two months of driving it.
