The cable connector. I just figured out it will go in, leaving four open holes (two rows of two) at the end of the m/b connector. The motherboard also has an ATX12 power supply but I got that figured out.

I'm glad I'm gone to bed, because I can't figure out what you've got there. All I can think is, make sure you check your motherboard's manual and make sure you're hooking up what you think you're hooking up.
