Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

No, seriously, you open the case, line the memory up with the slot, and put it in. It only goes in one way, the computer figures out it's there immediately, and you're up and running.

Well, yes, one ought to ground oneself thoroughly... I don't quite go to Talon's extreme when working on my box, and for me dropping hair in is more of a worry than static electricity.

I know... I think most people behaved until they knew she was alright. I think it's worse now because there's nothing seriously wrong with her... Usually, if someone dies or is terminally ill, people behave even if they don't like the person. All she did was faint so it's open season.
It's also worse because I don't think there is any American who is loathed as much as Hillary is.... even Bill.

It just gets to me because were ~supposed~ to be better than the "other side."
But we rarely are.

Can you believe the venom on that Hillary thread?I guess the fact that I was laughing at the thread means I'm a bad person....

Not necessarily. Some of the comments
were funny.
But some were downright wicked.
There's a big difference between "Hillary, falls did the floor get hurt?" and "Hillary falls, I hope she's dead."

I know... appearances matter.
It is all point of view on these people. When I see the way DU talks about President and Mrs Bush during an appearance with personal snide remarks about ~them~ being ugly, it does illustrate the character flaw we don't want to emulate ;~D

I'm off to take Becky to the pediatrician. She's still got that cough (over a week now) and yesterday she started having nosebleeds.
*sigh*
It's very likely allergy related but Claritin and Benadryl haven't helped at all. She prolly needs Elvis...I mean, prescription medicine. ;-D
See you all later.
