Actually - its not a "you're too stupid" law.

Its a "stop the meth labs" law. Thats a main ingredient in methamphetamine.

I think that is an effort to curb "Crank/Meth" production, as that is the main component.

Yes I have noticed. At my local safeway I can still buy sudafed over the counter, but at other safeways in other areas, I have to pick up a slip and take it tot he checkout counter, then the checker has to go into a locked cabinet to get the sudafed.
WHAT A STUPID WAY TO DO THINGS!!!!!
It made me look like I was some sort of a drug dealer!!!
I got loud. People were waiting behind us in line while the cashier could not find the type of sudafed I wanted. I told the whole store about it.
Now, One of the socialist ladies from Kalifornia is sponsoring more legislation that will control over the counter cold meds with computer accounting of who buys them and all sorts of crap.
At Wal-Mart, you have to go to the pharmacy and ask for sudafed. if the pharmacy is closed, guess what??? You can't buy any....
Please save me from the socialists that want to save me from myself!!!!!!!!
