We've got Fox now in Canada!

Posted on 01/26/2005 3:48:25 PM PST by Lord Nelson

I know technically it was approved a month or so ago. But my cable provider is now carrying it. Any ideas what shows I will enjoy?

Watched O'Reilly a couple times. I know he is a bit grating (he comes off a bit arrogant), but I like it when he grills those that need to be grilled.

Wachted Combes and Hannity for the first time? Forget whom was whom. One of them was playing the part of "pissed of liberal" Was a little annoying how he jumped on the guest with not even introducing himself. But I like the conservative one.

They say it too much, but I just love that "Fox News. Real Journalism, Fair and Balanced" Nice little poke at Ted Turner's empire.

Colmes is the one with glasses. You can also identify him by noting the foaming mouth.

Turn O'Reilly off.

Start your day with Kiran Chetry! ('s skirt)

Brit Hume has the best news show, in my opinion.

You don't have to like him to enjoy an interesting interview. I sure don't!

Make sure to watch Brit Hume at 6:30 Eastern, he has the best politcal panel discussion in the biz.

Don't forget Shepard Smith. He's better than O'Reilly at not letting the liberals lie and spin.

Well, Hannity (conservative, clean cut) and Colmes (liberal, face for radio) split their time with interviewees, and whoever is second has to be pretty agressive when they cut in. It's offputting, but necessary.

Excellent, I've been watching Fox News, ever since I first seen it on my Star Choice satellite. That is where I get REAL news without any liberal spin.

My guess is the network dislikes Colmes but wanted to appear fair by allowing another point of view. D Miller does it on his show. I don’t know why. It’s not news. It’s commentary. I rather chew my fingernails to the soft tissue underneath than hear a bunch of liberals spout their idiocies. I get enough of that on the fake news.

Actually I don’t care to watch news (I mean news reporting – I love commentary shows like Scarborough, ect…) at all, but I have made an effort to watch Fox. I think its good for me to get a dose of reality. Sort of like making sure I get my National Post and New York Post read for the day.

Speaking of O’Reilly. In his book “whose looking out for you” he mentions something like 9 million illegal immigrants in the United States. That’s maddening!

To me the solution is easy. Liberalize the rules for getting in the country for nonviolent nation states like Mexico (close the border to the Saudis). But cruelly punish those that make their way into the US illegally.

Of course this is not my country. It’s yours. And my leaders are far worse at securing our nation. I do know that immigrants can NOT receive welfare benefits. Refugees are another category and the one where the abuse is.

Oh.... I though you said we've got "Foxes" in Canada. I was going to tell you that I've been renting it at Pierre's Video in Winnipeg for years.
Never mind.

To be frank, I've never paid any attention to the duration...His show is on here in there early evening, (as it probably is in Canada also...

Got a note from another Freeper reminding me about Shepard Smith's show too...He's got a refreshing style you may like.
