I remember reading before the 2001 Inauguration that W had taken dance lessons so he could get through ceremonial duties. Apparently, he can fake about 3 steps before he gets totally lost.
Laura would obviously make the ordeal easy for him, but I've been wondering about that young servicewoman he danced with? I wonder if she figured out that he was doing something he'd really rather not just to honor her and the rest of the troops. Or maybe she was getting hazardous duty pay. :-)
I would imagine she was briefed. No matter, it will be an experience she'll never forget. And the troops were honored. Cool.
