Leni,
Do you know where the words/vocal of "Laura" are/is?
They play (danced to it) at several of the balls.
I know it's a movie of the '40 or '50....
It's a beautiful song about a beautiful Lady.
And you see Laura on a train that is passing through
Those eyes how familiar they seem
She gave your very first kiss to you
That was Laura....but she's only a dream
(Sigh)

Do you know where the words/vocal of "Laura" are/is? They play (danced to it) at several of the balls.
They dance to it at ALL the balls and when I first heard it, the flood gates opened and my husband asked why I was sobbing, sheesh! How positively romantic and clearly shows a man devoted to his beautiful wife as these pictures show.
Some pundit said there hasn't been a first lady as popular as Laura since Jackie O. and I'll add she gets more beautiful with age.
Lyrics to Laura written by Johnny Mercer:
Laura is the face in the misty light,
Footsteps that you hear down the hall,
The laugh that floats on a summer night
That you can never quite recall.
And you see Laura, on the Train that is passing thru,
Those eyes, how familiar they seem.
She gave your very first kiss to you
That was Laura, but she's only a dream
