No the car is still okay, but I don't know how much longer I'll be able to drive...Best check on things before the time comes....Also my keeper thinks lifting the scooter in and out of the car is to much for me and contributes to the falls....I'm not sure of that but best to keep peace in the family.......

It has been sunny here all day. It got up into the 50's. I had a couple of my windows open for a little while, but thought I'd better not push my luck with this cold.

You can work on jig saw puzzles or play cribbage at the Bean....Or read a book from the free lending library..The Sunday barrista spends a fair amount of time in the back of the room sitting on a couch knitting...There is another joint down in Renton in an old gas station...There is more junk hanging on the walls and scattered about than one can shake a stick at...LOL..Not like the fancy Starbuck joints at all....

There are all kinds of lifts and things for scooters....I've got a small car and am not sure if any would fit...Besides I don't think the darn thing is to heavy to lift..I don't feel I'm straining or any thing....We shall see what the future will bring....

This is unfair, she's lying down, unable to defend herself....

Well, I hope this doesn't sound insensitive, or uncaring, or downright mean, but..................................

If she'd stop drinking them blue thingies......

Or, if she would have gotten some green tea and Vitamin C's like I told her to do, days ago

She brought this on herself. Yep, that's what I think. She should be so much better right now if she'd just listen to our medical advice! But nooooooooooooo.

I'm glad it's warmed up for you there. It's still cold and foggy here - only got to around 45° here today, with wind. I went for a walk anyway, I need the exercise. I'm looking forward to April.

Good lord, Westy, senior (excuse the word) folks here get a ride in a fancy dancy buslike vehicle. Yes, they even get picked up from the rural areas in the county. They can asked to be taken to the mall, dr's office, grocery store etc. Of course, one has to call and ask what days of the week cover the route in their vicinity to be picked up.

And guess what...they either have a back area in the bus or a trailer for scooters, wheelchairs or whatever they ride. They didn't used to, but they do now because of the Veteran's Home ruckus. So many vets were getting those scooters that the administration forbade them from taking them along on trips. Well, that didn't last long because the vet organizations had a fit and they bought trailers to transfer them. So, our taxpayer funded program for non vets got a little uneasy, so they included it in their budget, too. LOL

Surely you have something like that in your town. Its time to reap the benefits of all the high taxes you have paid, Westy.

They have what is called Access buses...Small ones that I think will pick one up at home...Haven't check into it though....If I have to go a bus thing I'd rather just try to use the regular transit buses...A lot of them have lifts to get one and their scooter or chair aboard....

I'm going to go check my mail and then think about supper....If I fall out side we will see how well the panic button device works....LOL...Will I make it back to post more latter tonight...That is the question!!!!!
