Man! That is stinkin' cold! 25 here, but that's the highest it's been at night for awhile. Supposed to get up in the 50's during the day for the rest of the week.

We'll be gettin' a heat wave by mid week or so....in the 30's and up to mid 30's by weekend....it'll be so "warm" maybe I won't have to pile tons of clothes on myself---just a few pounds worth. : )

No. Didn't have any around. I supposed I should get some at the store. I just didn't feel like doing anything today. I had to go out to move my one foster child. That took 2 1/2 hours. Been feeling worse ever since I got back. I might have to take part of the day off tomorrow if I'm not feeling any better. I have a couple of things I have to get done, though, so I really can't call in for the whole day.

Today was the day this week for the daughter to come over so we could go grocery shopping, hit the espresso joint and her to swamp out the joint here...Makes me tired to watch her at work....LOL

Thanks, nic. I just took an alka seltzer plus. I'll probably go to bed pretty soon. I've been laying around off and on pretty much of the day, but it's hard to sleep when you can't breathe.

Yep, most all the snow has melted up in the mountains...We will probably be very thirsty next summer....

I got real sick the week after Christmas. I ended up going to the doctor and got an antibiotic. I think I was on the verge of getting pneumonia...horrible, horrible, cough, all day long for days...sore throat (partly from coughing, doc said), ear hurt (no infection, but it was referred pain from sore throat).....That was my week of vacation and I spent half of it in bed, bad sick.

But I don't want to get old....of course, I even more don't want to die young... : )

Looking back I think if I had my druthers I'd take the young route....Go out in ones prime instead of dragging on and on....

I've had pneumonia about 5 times in my life so far...Never had a cough just got to feeling no account....One time I almost passed out and fell off the top of a B-29.....

Yes. And really, I never get sick. With how my luck is, though, it figures that on my vacation I did get sick.

I've never had pneumonia. Each of my daughters did, once, and I felt really bad I didn't take them to the doctor sooner; I felt like a horrible mom.

Before the days of penicillin there wasn't a heck of a lot the docs could do for one...
