IN A LIFE IN WHICH I'VE SEEN AND HEARD MANY CREEPY THINGS, IT TAKES A LOT OF MAKE THE HAIR ON THE BACK OF MY NECK STAND UP, but now I am officially creeped out. I admit I haven't given too much thought to Michael Schiavo's lawyer, George Felos. I wrote him off as simply another cell in the vast pond scum that covers the surface of what is called "the legal profession." Then a passing comment at another site caused me to search out his book. I found it first on Amazon, but the reviews there were suspect so I decided I couldn't form an opinion from those. Then I went to the site of his "publisher," Blue Dolphin, reasoning that they would put forward Felos' book in the best possible light. Perhaps they do. I think when they see how brutally they will have to die, they will demand that a painless death (euthenasia) be legalized.

Maybe it comes down to the question: Who determines the purpose of our individual lives? Our Creator, or each of us?
Well DUH! Our government!
If someone has the purpose of caretaking those who are dependent and helpless.... is there not a purpose also for the dependent and helpless? We can rail against the unfairness of it all ... but the diversity of circumstances and abilities will always be a part of humanity. Unless, of course, we succeed in exterminating all of the lessers. But who will determine the "we's" from the "lessers"?
In MY estimation, Michael Jackson is a far more pitiful character than Terri Schiavo, and should be mercifully put out of his misery. But I do not have the right or power to accomplish that. Thank God.
Close. He should be put out of OUR misery...
At least we aren't snivelling in court with a doctor in scrubs at our sides. Ugh.

I did not give myself life so if I take my life have I not interfered with the scheme of things?
I really believe if Terri wanted to die she would have left years ago.....she really was not on a life support and feeding tubes can only nurish/work when the being also complies to the substance!
I think when one is under certain situation or stage of health they can chose to hold on or driff away!
It like permission to leave, which is different than assist!
An NDE person has a choice to return or not!
IF this takes place where Michael Schiavo can take care of his wife by doing her in......women are in trouble or a deformed child, even an unwanted husband!
Mainly women are in danger for it is another way for men who want out of the marriage with out obligations!
As we watch the courts today it does not seem to have that chivalry for women anymore!!
Today courts and the ideas that the male spouce gets in his head to kill his wife instead of divoice!!
OJ, Robert Blake, Peterson, and now Schiavo!
BTW
this is not a right to die case, for a murder who is a spouce can say this is his wife desire, is still heresay! Also he never utter those words until 7 years LATER!
She looks like she was in a state of wanting to live to me!
