sad that you would kill medical personnel because of your ignorance. You misunderstand.
I worry about my son. He has a living will and I hacve his durable power of Atty and all the rest of it, but if he is brain damaged or brain dead I will not see him lie there forever, nor will I see him starved to death. I will finish him instantly as he wishes. At my age there would be nothing left of my life after an assisted suicide or murder trial, even if found not guilty, so I might as well expend my life making a statement about how wrong our system is on euthenasia so that society will change it's laws before someone else has to go through that.
If my son has to die, if I have to die in order to help him, I am going to take hundreds with me to try to change how things are done.

The law can't protect everyone from everything. True .. but it can also give us the constitutional rights as an American citizen

Terry is brain damaged .. not brain dead

Here's the difference
,br> Terry is brain damaged .. not brain dead Terri is gettin a bad break, mainly due to bad choices she made in her life.
I'm sorry for her, but not enough to see my life potentially wrecked to save her.

If my son has to die, if I have to die in order to help him, I am going to take hundreds with me to try to change how things are done. YOU ARE A DANGEROUS PERSON AND QUITE POSSIBLY INSANE.
To: Servant of the 9
Why shouldn't that choice be available to all of us? Because it's a slippery slope we don't want to go down
It will open the door to all kinds of murders of the elderly .. or say young children who were born with disabilities
Swervie .. if your wishes are to have the plug pulled and you have openly stated so and in writing
I may not like it .. but I would also honor your wishes
What Terry's husband claims is all hear say, which in normal circumstances would not be allowed in a court of law

I'm sorry for her, but not enough to see my life potentially wrecked to save her. I understand your point and your concerns .. but this law doesn't force people to be kept alive no matter what
I just gives those who can not speak for themselves a chance for life

"growing found of the squirrels huh?" I've always liked squirrels. I just never had such problems with squirrels and birdfeeders before. That pan I actually put out there for the squirrels with a mixutre of sunflower seeds and peanuts, but the birds eat out of too. The squirrel problem is better at the moment and some of my new squirrel deterring measures seem to be effective. Besides, the Bluejays, the Red-headed Woodpeckers and the Titmice are really partial to the peanuts too. I put some in one side of the platform birdfeeder as well.

Yes, but the government probably won't under the new Federal Law that will override all 50 State laws.
I really don't understand this Terri thing. Usually it is Liberals who want to rewrite the law and put onerous new burdens on the whole population because "if it will save one life" or "it's for the childrun" but now conservatives are acting the same illogical way.
The 50 state laws we have now have worked just fine for hundreds of thousands over the years, and nw you want to replace them with a horrible law to save one person weho did nothing to save herself when she had the chance.

We have some of the best fishing in the country right here locally. People come from all over to fish in these waters. Maybe y'all should take an Arkansas vacation this summer.
