I ended up dealing with that brat ALL day yesterday and until 8 last night. Her regular caseworker conveniently
found had something
less important else to do. Finally got the kid admitted to a behavioral hospital in Little Rock. Once she started going off, making threats and getting completely out of control, there was grounds for it. Then I had to go do this worthless "training" today which involved 6 hours of driving. I do appreciate all you taxpayers financing these ridiculous trips though. I'd sure hate to pay that out of my pocket.

Awwwww...I am SO sorry to hear about your kitty. 9 isn't very old for a cat. I know you will miss him, but getting another kitty might help the healing.

I'm very sorry too about your cat, CB. When my precious boy was run over (he was eight), I felt so bad, I went to the Humane Society a couple of days later. Of course, I didn't tell them what had just happened. I ended up adopting two more - who have been the new kitty loves of my life. I felt strange going so soon after Magritte's death, but it sure did help my depression...

"Have you seen that answer anywhere?" Yes, I have, and it is just as repugnant as everything else about Michael Shiavo. He claimed at one point that he didn't want to divorce Terri because his whore is a Catholic and they wouldn't be able to get married in the church if he divorces her. Killing her is okay though. So, apparently, is producing b*stard children.

Only because he didn't show up today.
Else, based on the half conversation I overheard him have with one of my co-workers, he wouldn't have...

Actually, one of my ex roommates needs to find a home for her dogs. Seriously.
And since you said you don't have a dog, and you have had fugitives transiting your lawn?...

"he still cares for her and feels like he owes her a duty to see that her wishes are carried out." That's why he comes into the hospital earlier on and asks the nurse, "is the b*tch dead yet?" Funny way to show you care for somebody. And he told one of his previous "girlfirends" that he had no idea what Terri would want. It wasn't until several years and a couple of million dollars later (conveniently, immediately following the acquisition of the money which he got by tearfully swearing to a jury that he would use it for Terri's rehabilitation) that he suddenly had a "recollection" that Terri said she "wouldn't want to live like that." Never mind the fact that subjecting someone to an agonizing death by starvation wasn't even an option at the time, so even if she HAD said that, (and according to her best friend she said just the opposite), at that time, she could have only meant artificial life support. Food is NOT artificial life support.

I'm not a dog person. Besides, dogs are too high maintenance.

Food is NOT artificial life support. That's absolutely correct, sweetliberty. At the time that Terri could still talk, even if she had verbalized NOT wanting to be on "artificial life support," FOOD AND WATER was not considered life support. After Michael Schaivo hired attorney George Felos, he campaigned, with Senator King, to get the law changed to ADD FOOD AND WATER as 'artificial life support' again, AFTER Michael Schaivo had gotten over $1.3 million, swearing, under oath, "HE WANTED TO TAKE CARE OF TERRI FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE. And right after he got the money, he slapped a DNR order on Terri. How's that a loving husband?

That doesn't mean we should throw it all out for all 350 million of us.
Maybe her husband is an eeevil Bastid, but her family couldn't prove it, so it isn't true in law. Bad things happen to good people. Get over it, because if the law is changed to protect Terri, like the idiocy the house passed, it will cause untold misery for thousands of families every year tied up in stupid court cases by nosy third cousins or whiny bambified children.

I am just heartsick over this whole horrible thing, that we now put so little value on human life that we allow a monster of a man, a creepy, ghoulish attorney and one corrupt judge with an agenda, all with a vested interest, to trump everyone else, without even allowing for a fair and unbiased presentation of evidence. These bottom feeders doubtless know that were the facts actually presented, they could no longer make a pretense of justifying their evil position. The euthanasia agenda is straight out of the pit of hell, and I hope that not one of these godless reprobates ever has a moment of peace, waking or sleeping, unless they are genuinely turned to repentance.

Yes it is, sl; it is actually my prayers, that these men are revenged by God. And it is even my prayers that come Judgment Day, they are sentenced the experience and pain of eternal starvation and dehydration. (Unless they repent, of course.)
To: Servant of the 9; nicmarlo
"Everyone knows OJ killed his ex wife" Yes, but he didn't do it as a public spectacle with the full support of the one(s) who had the power to determine the outcome. Given the facts, I'd be willing to bet that the OJ or Scott Peterson jury would convict Shiavo. The only difference between Michael Schiavo and Scott Peterson is a few thousand miles, a national audience and a judicial cheering section.
