Good morning everyone! Still checking in from our "southern command" where the weather looks to be sunny and warm throughout next week. The people that come here regularly say that this winter was one of the wettest and coolest they've seen. Still, beats the heck out of being in Chicago.
I'm off to buy more oranges at the fruitstand as we are out. Have a great day folks.
Prairie
A nun, badly needing to use to a restroom, walked into a local Hooters.
The place was hopping with music and loud conversation and every once in a while the lights would go off. Each time the lights went out the place would erupt into wild cheers.
However, when the revelers saw the nun, the room went dead silent. she walked up to the bartender and asked, "may I please use the restroom?
The bartender replied, "sure, but I should warn you that there is a statue of a naked man in there wearing only a fig leaf."
"Well, in that case I'll just have to look the other way," said the nun.
So, the bartender showed the nun to the back of the restaurant, and she preceded to the restroom.
After a few minutes, she came back out, and the whole place stopped just long enough to give the nun a loud round of applause. She went to the bartender and said, "Sir, I don't understand. why did they applaud for me just because I went to the restroom?"
"Well, now they know you're one of us," said the bartender, "would you like a drink?"
"But, I still don't understand," said the puzzled nun.
"You see," laughed the bartender, "every time the fig leaf on the statue is lifted up, the lights go out.
So how about that drink?"

What's nutty is that some on the right are picking up the lines from the left and talking like it's true that the President is gay
Two prostitutes were riding around town with a sign on top of their car which said:
"Two Prostitutes -- $50.00."
A policeman, seeing the sign, stopped them and told them they'd either have to remove the sign or go to jail.
Just at that time, another car passed with a sign saying:
"JESUS SAVES."
One of the girls asked the officer, "How come you don't stop them?!"
"Well, that's a little different," the officer smiled. "Their sign pertains to religion."
So the two ladies of the night frowned as they took their sign down and drove off.
The following day found the same police officer in the area when he noticed the two ladies driving around with a large sign on their car again. Figuring he had an easy arrest, he began to catch up with them when he noticed the new sign which now read:
"Two Fallen Angels Seeking Peter -- $50.00."
The ends political spectrum must curve around and meet. I'm noticing that those on the far,far right seem to be merging with those on the far, far left. I used to think I was pretty far to the right, but after reading some of this stuff, I've come to the conclusion that i'm not. I've taken some of those political quizzes, and come out very high on the libertarian range of things, with the exception of the "open borders" concept.
Ever since Elian Gonzales, I've wondered if the KGB has pictures of a young Oxford student named Bill Clinton boinking a guy/kid on his trip to Moscow...
