Out where I am on the Island, it's been snowing lightly but steadily since 9am, and you could say we've had a dusting so far. Parked cars are covered and so is where I shoveled the other day's "no accumulation" event of 5 inches.

Wellllllllllll...I do come from Maple Syrup country, donchano.... and I will admit that I'm a little bit sticky most times.
Most people say that I 'stick' to their last nerve..... :-/
To: Darksheare
Yes, specially since she's now talkin' about Hibiscus bein' in bloom! What's wrong with that? Mine is in bloom too.

LOL!
No accumulation?
I sometimes wonder how they come to their conclusion, but then I remember that their weather models sometimes over estimate the "urban heat island" effect.

My kids were surprised when on the first day of classes I said that I wasn't going to play the PC game and publicly and proudly said that I was for Dubya, that 4 more years was my point of view, and that I didn't care who they supported so long as they had an opinion based on fact and not on rhetoric they borrowed from anyone, including the RNC.
A couple of 'em came up after that first class and said that they were for the Prez and were glad that they didn't have to hide their opinions.
Some hang out in my room during academic support and listen to Rush with me over the internet feed from WABC.
And I live in a VERY BLUE area, and I don't have tenure.

I only met people that accented the O's funny and the hard G.
Used to surf Long Beach and Gilgo in my younger days. Went to the Hamptons once after our prom......no surf that day, but my date was very, um, er..... nice about it.......

I shoveled his liver with ice melt and John Deere.. Good. He deserves it.
Now, methinks attention must be focused on nully...he's making threats to be very bad today!

Oh just great...the grandkids just arrived for a few hours while my daughter works some overtime. They're all sneezing, snotting and coughing. They're nothing but little incubators spreading their germs to me.

I haven't lived in LongIsland since I was a kid...but I guess that hard g sound has forever stayed, as people NEVER fail to bring it to my attention how I say that....then they ask if that's where I was born (I did manage to get rid of the "lawn" sound, however : )

I live in a VERY BLUE area, and I don't have tenure. Now that sounds scarier than any old storm.......
