.....Westy.....
Hello Restornu and all,
One look at the eerie but beautiful picture and I ran to put on another sweater. Here in Caput Mundistan, this afternoon it must've hit 14 degrees Celsius. Thank you for thinking of me. I'm not too good at Freepersville Threads and tricks... still a hit and miss, gorilla brained bumbler. Suddenly I came to a page with several links to me. I never expected an aurora borealis!!
I've been exploring this huge site. I knew the famous Right wing conspiracy was vast, but I didn't imagine it so fast!
Once I learn to slap up pictures (that's how primitive I am) I'll take you on a grappa /lighter fluid tour of Veneto.
Ugh, I have so much work to do... nasty translation work, and all I want to do is spout philosophy and save the world. .. I had so much more fight in me at DU. The problem is I like all you people... and would just love to take you on a magical tour of some places I know in the Hills of Piemonte and Monferrato. But I don't think it would be as breathtaking as that amazing picture... All that's missing are the angels coming down. (or maybe bears coming out of the woods!).
Salute e grazie!

Welcome to the Dimensional Doorway, Hud.
Enjoy the ride.
Wonderful pics Resty.
Sudden Stress Breaks Hearts, a Report Says
By DENISE GRADY
Published: February 10, 2005
Sudden emotional stress - from grief, fear, anger or shock -can cause heart failure, in a little known and poorly understood syndrome that seems to affect primarily women, researchers are reporting today. The victims are generally healthy, with no history of heart disease.

I can relate to this when my firm foundation had to pass on
the only true love in my life!
Good afternoon folks! Whewee, it's been a Work Day around here today. Lots of business-stuff going on and I had several bookeeping tasks and office related stuff to tackle as well. Hardly any time to FReep until now, perhaps tomorrow will be better.
We are moving on with our Southern extention of the journey on Saturday.
Prayers for all in need of them as I haven't had time to catch up on what is going on with everybody.

So where are you headed now? Are you already in San Antone?
A beautiful picture of Verona restornu. I didn't visit Verona when I traveled in Europe in my back-packing wild days of youth, but I looks like I should have.
I did visit Florence and Bologna which I liked a lot and Rome, which I didn't much care for but sheesh, there's so much to see in Rome that a person can hardly avoid visiting.
I am reminded of the wonderful fruit I had in Italy. Particularly the delicious blood oranges.
Oh yes, been here about 2 weeks. Down to The Valley next.
Speaking of earth quakes...my cat is acting funny. I know this might sound strange, but I am worried.
Way back in the late eighties, I had another cat who was strictly an indoor cat and could care less about going outside. One day, she started clawing at the door to be let out. We didn't let her, but she was persistent and finally got out the door. And she wouldn't come back in, either. We had to put her food and water at the back door.
Two days later, we had a moderate earthquake with minor damage in the area. And the next day, we had another one. After that one, she came back inside.
Now, my CC is an indoor/outdoor cat. This morning he would not come back inside and still has not. I finally put his food and water out on the side porch, and he ate.
Oh lord, I am a bit uneasy, to be sure.
Hey if your house is a wooden frame one it will creak and groan in a quake and if you have a brick chimney you might lose it but otherwise just stay away from stuff that can fall on you like a bookcase, etc. and you will probably be okay...I've been in a half dozen or so here and one in Japan....
.....Westy......
*Rolling eyes*
Yep............all they're good for. Now could you put another log on the fire please?
:-)
smart aleck!
Been a long time since I felt the earth move.
damn.
