Nope, Dallas. We went there last weekend. That was the view from our hotel room on the 32nd floor.
I try not to be!
that's a neat photo
but you can't help but be!
I'm still looking for some hay.
Hey - I enjoy your writing. Bring it, please.
NY cheers up there, Darks.
What's really bad is when I have poetry pop into my head.
*UGH*
And it won't get OUT of my head.
Probably why I don't recognize Austin.
There were at least 2 other buildings in Dallas last time I looked, what did you do with 'em?

LOL!
Thanks.
That was last night's dream.
I have NO idea what for, or why I had that dream.
Thanks!
The following morning it was raining and that building was enshrouded in clouds. A dark, gray day.
but do you ever think in Keats? : )
Nice Rolls Wraiths.
And it won't get OUT of my head.
Electric Drill?

Here's a recent photo of Austin:

I don't even recognize Austin anymore.

Don't come back to visit - it is not what we once knew and loved.
Savor the memories.
Not really.
Here's an example of what usually pops into my head, it's a fragment of something taht never was finished:
For days of rain
and daisy chains
still sitiing by
my windowpane..
Popped into my head a good four years ago, and stuck there.
Not sure even that would help.
Maybe a good stiff mixer of intramuscular thorazine and demerol chaser?
At other times, I get stuff like this:
An evening's parting word:
Moonlight upon the paths you tread
And starlight your ship may guide
Fair winds to shift the morning dew
And as the sun does rise, the day renew.
Well, I think I was actually the one that blew the caution. We were talking about men. She was telling me about her husband and how different their backgrounds were when they got married. We were talking about dealing with differences in relationships and I was saying how there were some things that just weren't negotiable. I said I couldn't see myself ever being with anyone who wasn't a Christian, and before I realized what I was saying, I said there was no way I could be with a liberal because I liked being with someone with whom I could carry on an intelligent conversation and I didn't think it was possible with a liberal. Then I sorta realized what I'd said and had a fleeting hope that I hadn't said the wrong thing. She laughed. The barrier was pretty much down after that.
darks.....what kind of work are you in? : )
