Good morning everybody. Well, the convention finally ended Saturday night. We attended the gala and had a wonderful time two-stepping to the excellent sounds of Asleep At The Wheel. Some of the finest western swing music being played today. Excellent twin fiddles, steel guitar. lots of Bob Wills numbers.....mighty fine, mighty fine. It had been way too long since I'd danced the Cotton Eyed Joe.

Yesterday left us catching up with laundry and sleep. Today is business as usual. We will do a little exploring this afternoon.

Also, one good thing about attending a ball at a cattlemens convention is that you will NEVER be served rubber chicken, LOL! Believe me.

They served NY strip steaks for about 900 people. I don't know how they cooked that many steaks and didn't have some of them end up well done, but everybody at our table had a nice medium cooked steak. The steaks themselves were of an acceptable quality for a banquet situation.

Some of our customers ran across the AIM booth at the trade show and thought of me with those bumper stickers. :^P

Sounds like fun dancing, Prairie. It has been way too long since I've done the 2-step or Cotton-eyed Joe, too. Used to go dancing a lot. Here, there's nowhere to go and nobody to go with, and I do love to dance.

I have to get to work too. I expect to be in court most of the day. I hope I'll get to come home for lunch, but we'll see. *Sigh* It's going to be a long couple of days. I have court today, and tomorrow I have to move two of my seriously troubled kids to Jonesboro to get them placed in therapeutic foster care.
