I am one of those born into the family of promiscuous daughters where soc workers thought the child were retards etc.
There were 6 women all had out of marriage relationships and children adopted out by 4 of them 2 keep their children and this took place during the end of the depression.
I asked a cousin why all of these womem were promiscuous
she could not figure out for the mother and father of this family was monogamist.

Now I grew up completely the opposite in my views of my bio family even my adoptive family (which are democrats and loved Bill Clinton) even though the soc worker try to poison my adoptive mother mind about me!

It starts out with a family brake down than the next generation is weaker an so on!

Good job getting you bearings and trying to make smart choices in your life...most kids aren't so lucky or fortunate. They usually continue making the bad choices that they see those around them making, day by day.
I was not the one who lost my bearings.......it was my bio family.......my choice was made before I was born I Love God and always had the Holy Spirit with me, as well as a guardian angel!
Neither bio or adoptive understood me for whenever even in humor the area was shady, my conscience was prick......in life I have witness many ignore it!

Well, the problem is that that kind of reasoning violates the premise of personal liberty. This is one of those situations where personal liberties come at a high premium. It isn't hard to rationalize it, though, working with some of the people I do. There are some parents who are just poor or ineffective and some who just made a mistake or managed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong person watching. Then there are others who, in my opinion, should not be parents. I deal with some beautiful children whose spirits are daily being eroded away by the behaviors of sorry parents. And that's not even taking into account some of the more serious ones, like the sexual abuse or physical violence that result in the children being taken away.

Anyone would be free to have as many children as they wanted as long as they didn't ask for government money to support them.
Personal freedom comes at the price of self support.
