That "religion of peace" bit sticks in my craw too. Yeah...I'm not too fond of that one either; but I can deal with that better than the others.....I have known many Muslims, and they aren't like the terrorists.

He didn't tonight.
I think if he hadn't repeated it ad nauseum (I hates it, don't think it's true at all) we would have been fighting a much larger war, one that we did not have the military to fight.

I couldn't take seeing Hillary shaking hands before, and then seeing her coiffured head and tight angry lips while the President was speaking.

I don't like the things you bring up, either, sharky....but the ones I mentioned really, really, really need to be taken care of.....safety for America (immigration)....and violating our Amendments are critical concerns for me (Free Speech and Right to Bear Arms).
The other issues you bring up are domestic policies/politics....very important, but not violations of our Constitution/Amendments.

You're going to be working a lot of overtime to get that much for my retirement..........
Harry and Nancy promised.

I missed her; they must have shown her while I had my attention to looking at the monitor....gee, glad I didn't see the witch.
To: Lakeshark
Did they? Did they say to leave soc sec the way it is? I missed that. I was so concerned about Searchlight and moral values and how some little boy wanted to be Harry.

putting a muzzle on Free Speech via Campaign Finance Reform...the President didn't veto it....he let it go through.
To: Borax Queen
That's just wrong. I thought what people take in at retirement is supposed to be based on the amount that is paid in and for how long. They shouldn't collect anything if they didn't pay anything in.

It's just sad - he tried to spin his "Not" amnesty to say it would help keep the drug dealers and terrorists out.
As someone who lives less than an hour from the border, I beg to differ.

see my post #3031 re Freedom of Speech
As pertains to gun control, he has encouraged bans on certain kinds of guns. I'm not in favor of that, as once you start banning one kind of gun, it opens the door to banning others. The Founding Fathers wanted us to be able to have an organized militia, capable of overtaking the government should a tyrannical situation ever occur. We can't do that if our arm's capability is limited to sticks, stones, lesser-powered guns than the military would have, or spit balls.

The politicians just love these illegal political commodities aliens. Sickening.

I turned it off right after you did......I know they did because they put out the announcement before the speech.
