I'm enjoying reading about the Godolphin Race horses. :)

Horses, plural?
I know of the Godolphin Barb, were there others?

Yes Precious. I can't believe I am getting to tell YOU something. ROFLOL.

Godolphin Racing is owned by Sheik Mohammed Martoum of Daubi. His Daubi stakes race is the richest in the world with a purse of 5 million dollars, last time I checked. Could be more now. You'll notice more of the light blue Godolphin silks on every race track in the World. Yes, the name came from Godolphin Barb.

Sheik Mo, as he is fondly called is well known in racing circles. :) Buys the best.

Ohhh, I thought you were talking about the Godolphin Barb, one of the three foundation horses of thoroughbreads.

The most painful one of all is Alydar. I'm not over that yet.

No, they didn't convict him of that, YET.

Yes, that's where they took the name, Godolphin, from. :) I do believe their stable (there's 4 brothers, all extremely rich, rule Daubi, outrageous bidders) have horses from the Barb stock. LOL. At least that's the hype.

BRRRRRRRRR ... icy cold wind out there. I suppose I should have worn shoes instead of sandals... and maybe a coat instead of a cardigan sweater. I just don't remember how to do cold weather any more.

It would be b-b-brrrrrrry here to you, but the last two days have been beautiful to us for this time of year, sunny, low winds, plus it hit 30. I'm not ready for full time warm weather yet, plus the himmicanes would worry me big time.

Maybe I'll re-think Arizona, um, no, that would be Hawaii.......
