Well, that's new...
Good Morning - Got it and replied.
Foggy, drizzly and cold here today.
Not good picture weather outdoors. Guess I just have to take pics of myself.
NOT my fault.
Fog is gone, but now we have rain. It's not constant heavy rain, and it's warmed up, so I'm happier. The fog was cold and miserable. It was also windy, which I don't get. Why didn't the wind blow the fog out of here? Withe the fog and wind (and 100% humidity due to the fog), the wind chill was in the 30's. It just made my aging bones ache! It was pretty mild yesterday, and will be so again today. I hope we see some sun this weekend.
Good morning folks. I've been busy using the camp laundry this morning and continuing to organize the inside of the RV. We've decided to spend one more night in Little Rock, and head to Dallaas tomorrow. We'll be driving out of the rain by that time instead of straight into it.
Libby, we ate at the Dixie Pig last night, it was very good. They had ribs last night, which isn't on the menu every night and we went for the ribs. Yummy! I enjoyed the sauce a lot, not so heavy and sweet as some places I've had BBQ. So far Arkansas BBQ is running right up there with what I've had in TX as my favorite. They served us green tomato relish with the dinners....which we'd never had before but we liked it.
I'm impressed with people here Libby, very friendly and open. I realize how jaded Mr. Prairie and I have become living in the north. Perhaps jaded isn't exactly the word I should use. It's just that I realize how less-than-open- we've become as a first response to people, being around those in a big metro area like Chicago. Not that there aren't nice people in IL of course, but people up there are just not as naturally first-response friendly as in the south and even downstate IL, AND where we both grew up in rural KS.
We sort of forget how tightly wired people living around northern cities are until we go to other places. It's a very nice reminder.
I'll try to check in again before we take off but if not it will be at least Sunday night before we have internet again. So have a great weekend everybody.

It sounds like you're having a good time and good vittles. I haven't had green tomato relish in years. It is good.
So, how does the computer work at a campsite? How do you access it and how do they charge? We have a Jayco pop-up camper and plan to take it on a long trip this summer.
Sunken Civ is a friend of mine for many many years online -- long before I came to FR. I lured him here, and he's quite a prolific contributor. Very smart, funny guy.

I am glad you did he got some unique collections...there is so much to learn about our planet....nice work Val!:)

There's accidental motion blur here, but we'll just pretend it's an effect I did on purpose:

Good report from Little Rock.
Thanks, and safe travels as you head south.
