Looks like we could get some snow tomorrow. YUCK!
Night, nic. See you for coffee in the morning.

LOL - Sounds like my sister and I. My Dad had a razor strap. That thing stung really bad. We didn't get it often because like you, the threat was almost good enough. In fact, we hid that sucker and nobody ever found it again, not even my sister and I!!

Animal-Human Hybrids Spark Controversy Maryann Mott National Geographic News January 25, 2005
Scientists have begun blurring the line between human and animal by producing chimerasa hybrid creature that's part human, part animal.
Chinese scientists at the Shanghai Second Medical University in 2003 successfully fused human cells with rabbit eggs. The embryos were reportedly the first human-animal chimeras successfully created. They were allowed to develop for several days in a laboratory dish before the scientists destroyed the embryos to harvest their stem cells........con't

That is too funny! My dad would start taking his belt off, and he usually achieved rapid compliance by that action.

We kids always had to go cut a "keen" switch from a tree for our punishment. I've never heard that word since my childhood. It must have been an Irish expression.

My prayer every night is that my day is a normal one. One can't ask for more than that, methinks.
Sweet dreams, Westy.

That's a funny looking eagle. Actually, some native peoples call them night eagles.
To: .38sw
It is funny. Empty threats don't work, but a follow-through works miracles.I used to 'count down' my kids. God knows what would have happened if I ever reached zero. I sure don't!

I was a tough case - count downs didn't work. I didn't need lots of spankings, just needed to know that if I didn't shape up, my dad was willing and able to administer one.

I have no idea why the count downs worked with my kids. I think the uncertanty helped keep them in line.
