Ian sure is Clark Kent, now that you mention it. LOL. And Bobby John is Tarzan to the max. Tom is amazing and Stephanie is pulling her weight too.
Maybe they can be on the next Amazing Race and Ron (POW) and Kelly can come over to Survivor.
Ian, Bobby John, TOm, and Steph should be the final four in Survivor for sure. James isn't bad either. I almost fell on the floor last night when Kim looked all hurt and offended because "the weak people are getting voted off first." LOLOL. It's about time, and I credit James for rounding up votes to eject the wusses.
I hate it when all of the strong people go first leaving nameless faceless forgetable wimps to scratch each others eyes out for first place. What kind of competition is that? It's like a "slow race," with the last person to arrive at the finish line winning. Bah Humbug.
Both Survivor and Amazing Race are quite good this season. I think theh producers finally got smart about chosing contestants.
Meanwhile, reality show fans, Apprentice disappoints. It started out three seasons ago as almost a beauty contest featuring nothing but shiny overeducated winners, has deteriorated to sort of ordinary contestants. Please, Donald, bring back the pretty, slick people.
I'm glad they didn't separate the sexes on Survivor this time. I hate it when they do that. The challenges are also more physical and interesting.
I liked the first Amazing Race episode. I'm pulling for Romber or the POW/Beauty Queen. I will say that there is not anyone I really like besides them.
I actually think that the first Apprentice had better people on it. Bill, Amy, Kwame, Amy's boyfriend (can't remember his name), and Troy were better than anyone on this season and maybe last season.
You're as big a reality show nut as I am, luckystarmom. No wonder we agree on everything -- we know whereof we speak.
Yes, separating the sexes was a terrible idea. This season will be great, and on TAR7 too. I like Romber and "Relly" (Ron & Kelly) too. I was amused that TAR posters who'd never seen Romber disliked them going in because they thought they'd be another Victoria and Jonathan. LOL
Kwaame and Troy and Amy and Whazzhisname (Nick?) her boyfriend were all adorable, smart, fun to watch, and had actual RELATIONSHIPS with one another that made them seem more likable and charming. And Bill RAncic was a believable winner. Also, their Trump apartment had more subtle, refined colors and furniture and was easier on the eyes. Someone turned the decorator from hell loose over there. It's a visual nightmare.
But this thread is about Suvivor! LOL Outplay, outwit, and outlast, luckystarmom. Maybe you should go on the show.
Shhhhhh....don't let Right Cal Gal hear you say that.
tee hee. :)
The Ulong Tribe: Angie, Bobby Jon, Ibrehem, James, Kim, Stephenie
The Losers: Ashlee, Jeff, Jolanda, Jonathan, Wanda
Koror, manages to avoid Tribal Council yet again.
Ulong returns from Tribal Council. Kim, and Jeff are in the shelter complaining about Jeff Probst making them admit that they were attracted to each other. Kim says the whole snuggling thing has been blown out of proportion. Meanwhile, James says to the camera This week theyll be cuddling and next week theyll be making out because Kim is a woman and all she has to her advantage is her sexuality.
The next morning finds us at the Koror camp. Its raining. Again. The tribe doesnt like it, and their shelter is leaking like a sieve. Tom says they need to improve their shelter and we are subjected to the ghastly image of Coby carrying bamboo in nothing but his Speedo. What did we ever do to them?
Katie starts giving her expert opinion to the others who are actually doing work. Caryn has enough of it and proceeds to give Katie the what for. Katie laughs off the encounter, seeming like she thinks Caryn was a little nuts. Caryn thinks that her little rant only accomplished putting herself on the chopping block
The tribes are called to Reward Challenge. Jeff explains that object of this challenge is to be the first person to swim out, grab a life ring, and touch your tribes pontoon while touching the life ring. You can do anything you want to stop the other person from winning short of punching them in the face or intentionally hurting them. The first round will be man versus man. The second round will be woman versus woman. After that, we will mix things up. The first team to score three points wins a sewing kit.
Round one, Jeff vs. Tom
Probst says go.
Jeff beats Tom, Ulong 1 Koror 0
Round two, Stephenie vs. Jennifer
Probst says go again.
Stephenie beats Jen, Ulong 2 Koror 0
Round Three, Bobby Jon/Angie vs. Gregg/Janu
Probst says go again.
Bobby Jon reaches ring, Angie dunks Janu, Angie dunks Gregg, Gregg dunks Bobby Jon, Angie dunks Gregg again, Angie dunks Gregg yet again (keep in mind that Janu has given up at this point). Bobby Jon touches pontoon. Ulong 3 Koror 0. Ulong wins reward.
Ulong is happy, and decides to take a break from the hot afternoon sun. Everyone that is except Bobby Jon, who works like the proverbial work horse. Catching fish, smacking coconuts out of trees, etc.etc. Bobby Jon says he likes doing things for people, but theyll let you do everything if they can. Kim worries about her Bobby Jon, saying he works too hard and he is playing his cards to cement his place in the group but hell be of no use if he does this for two weeks and then crashes and burns. Guess that was her way of rationalizing not working herself.
Meanwhile over at Koror, Tom, Ian, and Gregg go hunting for food. After killing three sea snakes, (much to PETAs horror!) they decide that instead of eating the snake meat themselves, they would redeem themselves in PETAs eyes by feeding the small sharks instead. (Guess they werent that hungry after all.)
That night at Ulong, Jeff gets up to use the little boys room and trips over a coconut shell, badly twisting his ankle. He hopes if he elevates it at night itll be better in the morning. But morning comes and the ankles no better as Jeff hobbles around camp. And just when you think things couldnt get worse, Bobby Jon arrives with Tree Mail calling them to Immunity Challenge.
After Probst learns what happened to Jeffs ankle, he explains the Challenge. Each tribe member will be wearing a belt that is clipped to a common rope, so the tribes will move together. In addition they will each be given a bag that is filled with twenty pounds of sand. The tribes will start on opposite of an oval course (in the water), they will race, trying to touch the other tribe. The first tribe to touch a member of the other tribe wins immunity. Any player can opt out at any time, but must unclip him or herself from the rope and hand his or her bag to a teammate still in the challenge.
Probst says go and Jeff immediately quits the challenge, handing his bag to Bobby Jon. They then start dropping like flies. Caryns bag goes to Tom and Willards bag goes to Gregg. Then, Kims bags goes to Bobby Jon, Angies bag goes to James, while Katies bag goes to Ian. The teams are now tied four to four with Bobby Jon carrying 60 pounds, Tom, Gregg, James, and Ian, each carrying 40 pounds and Coby, Stephenie and Ibrehem each with their original 20 pounds. The race stays like this for a while until Coby gives up and gives his bag to Tom. James hands one of his bags to Ibrehem, but soon gives up and hands his other bag to bobby Jon, who now is carrying 80 pounds. Ulong is steadily slowing down while Tom coaxes his team to speed up in the shallow water. Eventually, Ian jumps and tags Ibrehem giving Koror the win, and the ugly idol.
Back at camp, Jeff decides to take one for the team, and asks the rest to vote him out at tribal council. Bobby Jon doesnt want Jeff to go, saying that even at his weakest, he is still ten times stronger than Kim. The rest each give their little speeches to the camera but you just know that Jeff will get his wish and be sent hobbling into the sunset.
Sure enough, after the typical blah, blah, blah at Tribal Council, Probst calls for the vote, and Jeff gets his wish, with 4 of the seven votes, Jeff takes that long hobble of shame.
.
.
Now, for those of you who cannot or will not view the videos from the SeeBS website, here is a transcript of what each player said (at least as much is can be determined) while voting and Ashlee final words.
James (Votes Kim): Kim, you are lazy. You don't do anything. You let the fire almost go out today, you get out of the race today, early. You are not a helper, sorry.
Stephenie (Votes Jeff): Jeff, it's what you wanted, I am granting your wish, when anybody has to get out of this game, they're going because I'll never (unintelligible) out of this game. And even if Kim doesn't pull her weight, she'll be the next to go. Love you.
Ibrehem (Votes Jeff): We really do need you, but with your luck, you really can't contribute. I guess, I'll miss you, I wish you could be here because we really really do need you, alright.
Kim (Votes Jeff): You've become one of my greatest friends on this island, I am happy to get to know you, but this is what you wanted so this is what I am going to do.
Jeff (Votes James): James
Angie (Votes Jeff): You're not a martyr, this isn't for your ankle, it's for your bad attitude.
Bobby Jon (Votes Kim): Everything is fine, but tonight I am not going to play you and Jeff's silly ass game.

Jeff's Final Words
I don't regret tonight at all because it was my choice, and I know that by making that choice, my team is going to be able to advance further in this game.
I am already walking away from this experience with complete satisfaction that I've been on an island, I have survived, I've met incredible people, I've had a wonderful time, I don't regret a second of it. Just being in this beautiful place has completely changed my outlook on life. There is a huge part of me that wishes that I had not injured myself to the point of being unable to help my team advance in the game, but because it did, it tells me that it was my time to go anyways, and that's why I made the decision that I did.
The one thing that surprised me the most about being out here is how quickly you can make friends with people, who you are depending on to survive. Being here, I have learned a lot about myself, one of which, I can open up to other people faster than I thought I ever could. I didn't think it was possible that in 7 to 8 days, you could feel so attached to so many people.
Playing this game and getting injured has made me realize that anything can put you out of any game and you just have to enjoy everyday to the fullest because something like this can happen, that can bring you back, and put you a step back to the point where you are the slower one in the race.
I've learned through this game that nobody is invincible, even myself.
I never quit. I stepped out of this game, not only due to the fact that I knew my limitations and I knew that my ankle was not going to support me for much longer but mostly, because I want my team to advance in the game, and they all know it.
I understand that some people may misinterpret what I did tonight as quitting, I never quit, I'm trying to help out the tribe.
Ulong, it's time to take Koror to the cleaner.

Again, as a reminder, due to the NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament (a.k.a March Madness), the 5th and 6th episodes of Survivor; Palau will be broadcast on Wednesday instead of Thursday. Thats the 16th and 23rd. Episode 7 will resume regular Thursday night broadcasts on March 31st. Set your VCRs and TIVOs accordingly.
Take care,

Should be - " . . . while voting and Jeff's final words."
Note to self: Proofread more better next time!
Great wrap-up as usual, cuz. Got me in the mood for Survivor again tonight. Let's see if Koror can get their shark.
The Koror Tribe: Caryn, Coby, Gregg, Ian, Janu, Jennifer, Katie, Tom, Willard
The Ulong Tribe: Angie, Bobby Jon, Ibrehem, James, Kim, Stephenie
The Losers: Ashlee, Jeff, Jolanda, Jonathan, Wanda
Greetings fellow Survivor junkies! Its time once again for your weekly:
According to a compilation of the official SeeBS Website, the promo vidcaps for episode 4 and the various spoiler websites, the following is what we can expect to see tonight.
Tonights episode is titled: Sumo at Sea
Tensions rise within both tribes when they are forced to choose leaders for the next Reward Challenge. What role will the leaders play? General consensus has the chosen leaders picking which tools and supplies from Home Depot they will use to Build a Better Shelter.
One castaway becomes annoyed when a tribemate complains of having no energy and doesn't help the tribe. Kim is the one doing the complaining and either Angie or Bobby Jon is the annoyed one.
Spirits are high within a tribe when they win a Challenge and an extraordinary Reward. This tribe has won the Reward Challenge and receives an extra reward from Probst.
It is still early in the game, yet signs of tribal division emerge when one group considers banding together to vote out a tribemate. Who is the unlucky one? Depending on the tribe, the unlucky one is Kim of Ulong, or either Willard or Caryn of Koror.
The Reward Challenge is a Build a Better Shelter with tools and equipment selected by the chosen leaders. The winning tribe receives additional building supplies from Probst.
The Immunity Challenge is again physically brutal. Sumo at Sea has one-on-one knock the other player off a platform into the water type wrestling matches.
Well, enough of my flappin my gums, its time for:

Thanks Cuz, go Koror! (although I do like Bobby John too)
If Ulong loses as again, and votes off another member, as Cuz predicts, then it's a 9-5 count now...whenever they do merge, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel..therefore there has to be a tribe mixer..mix-up..rearranging soon..BEFORE the merge....
Hope it's Caryn. Shakespeare was right, kill all the lawyers first. How many were there this time, 12? Remember the first Survivor where the female attorney was one of the first voted off? She sued! No kidding!
According to my sources, Burnett lets Ulong self-destruct, getting down to 2 members. Then there will be a challenge between only those 2, with the loser leaving and the winner spending a night at camp alone before merge.
I won't say who I've heard will win that challenge, but back in the first episode, said person did "sort of" ally with some Koror, and may not immediately be voted out.
Wow..you have good info....
I'm not sure how good it is. I'll know better after next week's episode. (:
Hmmmmm?????? could said person be covered in tattoos and have a somewhat FREEK-a-zoid type mentality?
Nope...not her.
I hope it is Bobby Jon, he is some pretty eye candy.
Bobby Jon is mighty pretty, but Tom is my TV boyfriend right now.
I have to agree about Bobby Jon and Tom.......btw...hope God doesn't strike me dead, but Im rooting for Rob and Amber on TAR...
