Okay, pure vanity thread. I just flipped on the tube, and saw Kelly with her co-host of the day Bryant Gumbel. I find this tremendously un-funny. She is encouraging Bryant to steal something from a hotel room. Seems a bit junior-high schoolish to me. Am I being a prude, or is this normal fare for morning talk tv?

Her role on the show was supposed to be the ditzy hot blonde who served as a foil for Regis, not to be a comedienne in her own right. So I'm not surprised she'd suck w/o Regis there.

I used to watch that show when Kathie Lee was on. I stopped when Kelly came on. She's a Kathie-wannabe. Too ditzy and fake.

May I offer a quick intuitive take on her?
She is mean as a snake. I can just feel it. She is just one of those mean girls from high school. Is it just me or does any other female get the same vibe. I wouldn't trust that babe for two minutes.

It's a ripa-off [!] of the "morons in the morning" format so popular on morning radio. Very amusing to 18 year olds and those stuck at that maturity stage but that's about it. Watch for them to start calling celebrity hotel rooms.
