N.Y. Jets at Pittsburgh
Barring a natural disaster, I think the Steelers will walk away with this one. Minimum 14 point advantage to them. They're just that good.
St. Louis at Atlanta
Fairly evenly-matched. I think the advantage goes to the Rams by a field goal, but I'll be rooting for Atlanta.
Minnesota at Philadelphia
Apart from an Act of God, Minnesota is going to get spanked so hard that their butts will glow in the dark. I'll be rooting for the Purple People Eaters, but Philadelphia has a far better defense than Minnesota and their offense is formidable. I figure Philadelphia will will by at least 10 points...more if the Minnesota defense collapses before the end of the first half.
Indianapolis at New England
Tough one to call. New England has legacy on their side, but they've made some collosal errors of late, even getting beat by the Miami Dolphins in the regular season. When the entire offense steps up to Manning's will-to-win, Indianapolis is a lean, mean scoring machine. I'm going to go with the Colts to win by a touchdown.
Jets +3. The Smoke dissapates, and the mirrors break.
Atlanta/St.L. PIck'em if not for Vick factor. Atlanta +3
Minn/Phil Minn +7 Philly's D is that good. But With TO a No Go, They'll be on the field all day.
Indy/NE... In INDY this would be a blowout. In NE, Cold Wet Colts get Beat up NE + 7
There is also the noise going on about how the Colts can't play outside. As I understand it, they've been practicing outside all week, and given the the rain and cold we have here, the Colts should be ready to go.
The Colts played as well against New England as anyone this year. The Miami game shows New England can be beat...I'm picking my Colts by 14
Colossal errors? Hell, they only lost 2 games, went undefeated at home (for the second straight year). Miami always plays the Pats tough in Miami.
Using your logic, given that Indy went 13-3, they made more colossal errors, no?
