The happiest days of Julia Roberts life turned into a nightmare for another new mom when the movie star stole her suite at Los Angeles Cedars Sinai hospital.
The unnamed mother had the misfortune of going into labor at the same time as Roberts and had to give up the recovery suite she had booked last June for the celebrity.
The angry woman first sympathized with the Oscar winner and hospital staff, but now she's hoping to warn other mom's to be that they will be forced to downgrade if a celebrity goes into labor.
The new mum said, 'She was getting all this ridiculous treatment-even though all the other babies need special care too.'
She also said that Roberts attitute upset all of the other new mothers: 'She acted like she was the center of the universe..She gave everyone hostile looks.'
Roberts gave birth to twins Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Waler on November 28.

If that downgraded mom had complications, it could have been a disaster for the hospital.
No, it was only a recovery suite, which is where she would have been after the birth; Still, I hope she didn't have to pa extra for the reservation...
Glad to hear it - I always thought Cameron Diaz was adorable.
She reminds me of Judy Holliday of 50's movie fame. Judy played so-called "dumb blondes" who are actually quite smart. She was droll, witty, talented and made it look effortless. And her voice was hilarious! Am I too old or does anyone else remember Judy??
if my wife were to be told that she was being moved because that snooty b**** wanted a room, i wouldnt move. it might come to blows pretty fast.
At most hospitals special rooms in the birthing center can only be requested, not booked. Since most births are not scheduled, if more than one mother has requested the facility, these rooms are given on a first come basis. A good question would be, was Julia there first?

It does, either way. But Ms. Roberts is off the hook if the hospital did this behind her back.
I'm sure this other mother had the room booked down to the hour since you aren't allowed to give birth without a cesaerian at Cedars.
This kind of thing will continue and is really getting worse due to the absolutely idiotic "cult of celebrity" that drives so many people in this country.
I'm sure the hospital, its employees, and future patients will fall all over themselves fighting for the day they can stay in the new "Julia Roberts" suite in the OB\GYN ward, which will be showered with money by expectant mothers who want to deliver in the same room that Julia once occupied. What a great marketing opportunity!
