Dear Lord,
Prayer is powerful.
Without You Lord we are nothing.
We are weak by ourselves.
We are strong in our faith in You.
Lord, our troops have dangerous
missions and assignments everyday.
Some less dangerous than others; but
the enemy never takes a break.
Please guide our troops as they deliver
the election materials and voting equipment
to the polling places.
Please protect the Iraqis who want to vote; to
be safe as they go to the polling places.
We are asking an awful lot Lord.
We are asking for Your protection and guidance.
We ask all of this in Jesus' name.
Amen.

May God protect and defend these brave soldiers who are trying to bring freedom to Iraq. May He soften the hearts of those who would attack them, in Jesus' name.

May the Lord Almighty, Creator of Heaven and Earth, confound the enemies of peace. May their plans for evil unravel, and may peace and justice prevail.
