The Neverending Story

After a nine month hiatus, The Neverending Story, the granddaddy of daily threads, has returned to Free Republic. Originally begun on March 24, 2001, as a religious discussion thread, the NES evolved over time into a daily thread spanning a wide variety of topics. The new and improved Neverending Story will feature conversation on religion, politics, culture, current events, business, sports, family, hobbies, general fellowship and more. We welcome you to hang your hat in our little corner of FR. We ask you to abide by the FR posting rules and, even in the midst of serious debate, to keep the discussion friendly and respectful. Those who wish to "duke it out" are asked to take it over to the Smoky Backroom. I placed this thread in "General/Chat" for a reason, so play nice and have fun! :o)

He Is Risen!!!

Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men. But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you." So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word. And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.

Thank you. It is a very blessed (is that a word?:') day for me. Yall would be shocked though. I have changed so much. I'm on my way to church. The jeans hanging wistfully in the closet. I'm not only in a dress but have the accessories to go with it including (gulp) a hat! lol

Yeah that little turd is hard to keep up with, he never stops.
I told Charlie we was gonna start taking him with us when hes gets about 2 years old. Gotta toughen up the kid or he'll have a limp wrist from hanging around all them women folk. :)

The rest of the bunch is fine, they came up Easter and ate me out of house and home, that damn SIL (Moose:)of mine can put the food away...I mean...DAMN!!! you better not reach across him at the diner table to get something...you just might come back with a bloody stub. :)
