I have no horse in this race but that was a blow to the head whether he was falling down or not......they all know that you can't even accidentally do that to the QB...no matter what........sorry.....you're right that it shouldn't end like that but even those whacko announcers agreed on that one.....

Forearm to the head. That's a legit call in a league where Quarterbacks are prima donnas.

I thought it was great. Of course it was a bad call, but the whole idea of treating QBs like they are little girls is stupid and not football.
If such a call costs a NY team a playoff game, then maybe the NFL will look at changing the rules back to those football. You know where everyone can get hit. Where the people who opt to play it like the contact of the game.

Your linebacker was dumb, dumb, dumb.

Don't blame the officials. Blame the steroid enhanced moron who, running on adrenalin and whatever synapses are firing in his shriveled, reptilian brain, decided to let his right arm fly. Oh, by the by, this guy (who adds zero value to humanity) gets paid more in one game than an engineer building bridges gets paid in a year.
If I were the owner of the Jets, I'd fire this guy on the spot.

Are we watching the same game?

Look man, I don't like this sissified officiating either, but that was a blatant foul. ......and incredibly stupid, considering the circumstances.
Jets just got a break on the missed FG in OT.

We have illegal use of the brain on MrArbitrage and premature posting for a total of 15 yards or a forearm to the head.
The forearm was a stupid move and every bit a penalty. The Chargers gave the Jets a gift when they didn't go for 2 at the end of regulation, especially if they didn't have confidence in their kicker. Oh well, woulda coulda shoulda. See you in New England if the visitor-wins trend continues.

I agree, that was such a bogus call. If people think that was intentional, I think you need to get professional help. I wouldn't even call that a "blow" to the head. It was a tap when his arm was coming down with his body. But as a Jet fan, that was the best game of the year no doubt.

Here's a clue: Wait until the outcome of the game before you complain about the outcome of the game.
