The Jet's got screwed

I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. I'm not a Jets fan or Chargers fan. But I am absolutely digusted with the bul%^&* officiating in that game. The Jets WON THAT GAME!
For those officials to change the outcome of that game on that bull&%@# call on 4th down is disgracefull! They are worthy of being lynched - and I don't mean John Lynch.
That arm to the head happened no doubt, but as to the intent - it is far to subjective. They both were falling and it COULD have been an accident. The Chargers did not deserve to win this game, but the Referees have screwed the Jets royally!

I have no horse in this race but that was a blow to the head whether he was falling down or not......they all know that you can't even accidentally do that to the QB...no matter what........sorry.....you're right that it shouldn't end like that but even those whacko announcers agreed on that one.....

Forearm to the head. That's a legit call in a league where Quarterbacks are prima donnas.

I thought so too. It looked very deliberate to me.
What a breathtakingly stupid thing to do.

They're in OT. Chargers have the ball.

I thought it was great. Of course it was a bad call, but the whole idea of treating QBs like they are little girls is stupid and not football.
If such a call costs a NY team a playoff game, then maybe the NFL will look at changing the rules back to those football. You know where everyone can get hit. Where the people who opt to play it like the contact of the game.

Your linebacker was dumb, dumb, dumb.

I agree that it was ARM to the head, but I don't think that it should have been called. It should have been "overlooked" as the ball had left Brees' hand and the Jets BEAT this team. I just hate injustice. This is an example of the "letter of the law" trumping the "spirit of the law". The Chargers did not "win" this game. At the end of the game, they will be illegitimate winners.

but since both sides have little girls playing at QB then it is fair and balanced.......just like Fox....and a blow to the head is no laughing matter. In the field of play it is part of them game and I have no sympathy for QB's but if you let that happen most of them would be out by the 3rd week

I'm not a Jets fan. I am from Pittsburgh. I just hate watching bull$%^& calls changing the legitamate outcome of games.
This is a "welfare" or affirmative action type of victory. It was unearned by the Chargers. They couldn't have won without that call.

Don't blame the officials. Blame the steroid enhanced moron who, running on adrenalin and whatever synapses are firing in his shriveled, reptilian brain, decided to let his right arm fly. Oh, by the by, this guy (who adds zero value to humanity) gets paid more in one game than an engineer building bridges gets paid in a year.
If I were the owner of the Jets, I'd fire this guy on the spot.

Are we watching the same game?
Breese's head was slammed into the ground.

What a breathtakingly stupid thing to do.Yes it was. There are a lot of roughing the passer calls that I think are silly but this one was on the obvious side.
