Remember the scene in "Sleepless in Seattle" which degenerated from a discussion of "An Affair to Remember" into a weepy discussion by the guys about "The Dirty Dozen"? The Bond movies are the "Guy Flicks," but only the ones with the real Bond, Sean Connnery.

RE: "So, is there an "Ultimate Guy's Movie" list?"

Try this one, from the Men's Journal magazine. It's old (December 2003) but it will do in a pinch.

The 50 Best Guy Movies of All Time.

1) Dirty Harry
2) The Godfather
3) Scarface
4) Die Hard
5) The Terminator
6) the Road Warrior
7) the Dirty Dozen
8) the Matrix
9) Caddyshack
10) Rocky
11) Full Metal Jacket
12) Dr. No
13) The Killer (John Woo-1989)
14) Raging Bull
15) Bullitt
16) Enter the Dragon
17) Apocalypse Now
18) Goodfellas
19) Reservoir Dogs
20) Fight Club
21) The Usual Suspects
22) Blazing Saddles
23) The Wild Bunch
24) the Maltese Falcon
25) Unforgiven
26) The Seven Samurai
27) Diner
28) the Big Lebowski
29) Shaft (original)
30) 48 Hours
31) the Searchers
32) Platoon
33) Animal House
34) The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
35) the Longest Yard
36) Blade
37) Stripes
38) North Dallas Forty
39) the Untouchables
40) the Great Escape
41) the Three Stooges
42) The Hustler
43) Slap Shot
44) the French Connection
45) Office Space
46) Easy Rider
47) Dazed and Confused
48) The Bridge on the River Kwai
49) Cool Hand Luke
50) Fletch

Pretty good list if you ask me; many of these films are either outright or cult classics. Glad to see a great, original films like Big Lebowski, Fight Club, and Diner recognized alongside the big boys of rockin' male cinema (aka Dirty Harry, Scarface, Caddyshack, John Wayne, Bruceb Willis).
Blade, Fletch, and Easy Rider aren't really up to this list in my opinion, but you can't win them all I guess.
