Probably this is a result of failure to adhere to the Kyoto Treaty: another example of Bush ruining the weather, and all just to embarrass his defeated rival. ;-)

First it travelled Left.
Then it travelled right.
Then it threw its medal over the fence.

The storm is named KERRY. And it won't go anywhere NEAR Cambodia!
To: docbnj
Eh, it's pretty far from Australia, relatively, right now. It's near New Caledonia.
To: docbnj
Even money says it turns out to be a dud.

To: docbnj
If its name is kerry, don't worry about it...it'll change its mind and go somewhere else.

yeah.
Actually the current projected path is a bit North of New Caledonia (Over Espiritu Santu, where the men of Baa Baa Black Sheep would go to party.)
There's a hilarious story of how Admiral Halsey got the French to let us put the SOPAC headquarters ashore on New Caledonia in World War II....

Sorry. "It's a joke, right?"
