I have a bin that hold three bags too.... Course I go through that in a month. I have a few mice - we actually saw one yesterday.... Gidget is always after them and gets one occasionally.
It kind of goes in spells here. Where I've got alot, then none.
If I keep the empty bags burned, not let them pile up that seems to help too. They really like nesting in a pile of empty bags. But sometimes thats hard when conditions are dry and it's windy.

Can you figure approximate what it costs a week for you to feed one of your average size horses (not pony:) when you have to feed hay and grain?
Using the feed I use it's around $15.00 a week per horse. I've never thought that was too bad.
