Question: What does PETA do when they think they see a horse in trouble?

Answer: In our case, the horse was lying down sunning himself, and they called animal control.

We told the woman that if she was really worried about the horse she should have called his veterinarian, whose name (along with two backups) is listed in the barn.

Anyone else here have similar problems?

A "normal" person would have just come and told you one of your horses were down. What did animal control do?

No, never. My horses lay flat out prone in the sun all the time, next to a busy road. ~Chuckling~

What I can tell you is that the PETA woman would not have liked me very much. Chances are, in fact, she would have hated me before it was all over.
