Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing. Smart move putting those steps in. Well traveled trails on hilly areas, can get eroded in time. Was this a State Park?

I whole hardly agree on the "nice horse/pretty trail". I got so burned out on horse shows. I will attend, to watch my daughter and granddaughter, but sure do not miss participating.

Me too. When I went it was always me, the trainer, then a bunch of younger kids, who I'd end up grooming for as well as having to take care of myself and my horse. Then in the flat classes there were just too many horses, and it really freaked me out. Cantering in a mob is just no fun, and no matter how hard you try to find your own spot on the rail, someone always ends up riding up your butt or cutting you off. I would like to try dressage shows though, because I'd be the only one in the arena when I ride my test. I think it'll be a while before I do that though. I have a lot to work on.
