My dream is to move up there and build a log cabin. I get log home living magazine and dream every month! I have even drawn up the plans!
I dont consider myself a rider, very inexperienced compared to James (deaconjim) and friends, but i love animals and have conquered my extreme fear of horses. Up till a year ago, i wouldnt go anywhere near one. I have a healthy regard for ours and know they can be dangerous, but have finally fallen in love with them!

Well I'm proud of you. Horses are wonderful animals and are relatively easy to read. Once you get their body language down you can pretty much tell what they're gonna do before they do it.

I have hopes my husband will have a change of heart like you, but I'm not counting on it. About the only thing that can be changed about a man is his diaper when he's a baby, after that you'd better just accept him the way he is. ;o)

Horseback riding in the Smokies is definitely on the list of "things to do". When I camped and rode there a number of years ago, they had a bear alert out! Never saw a bear, but there were a lot of skunks roaming around the campsite. Beautiful campground in Cherokee right by a creek. The area was dry and we had to drive a ways for a beer run. I wonder if it is dry in the casino?

It's wonderful going on vacation during off season. Would you believe all THIS for $585/6 nights!
