OK - A shameless vanity - but at least it's about golf. It got up to near 50 degrees today and no wind, so I went out and played 9 over a long lunch. As I was walking between shots, I began to day dream about who I would pick if I could play one round with anyone I wanted, and then thought it would make for an interesting vanity post.
Here's what I decided:
Front 9 - My son, Wayne Gretzky, and Jesus.
Back 9 - My son, Tiger Woods, and Jesus.
Pebble Beach would work just fine.

So what about your "dream" foursome? Also, feel free to mention if Santa put anything under your tree that you'll be taking to the #1 teebox your next time out.

My dream foursome? Hmmm. I'd have to say:
Front Nine: Me, my father, President Bush and Jesus
Back Nine: Me, my father, Mike Krzyzewski and Jesus

Front 9: My Dad, Dick Cheney, Vijay Singh, and Winston Churchill
Back 9: My Dad, Dick Cheney, Davis Love III, and my husband
I'm wearing a tasteful linen dress and flowered hat, keeping score and pouring the drinks. I could only stand Winston for 9 holes - doesn't he know I'm a married woman?

Yea, I'd like to be in on the conversation between a buddhist like Tiger and Jesus. That'd be fun.

Jesus would have him converted after the 1st hole.
I had no idea that TW is a buddhist.

though Winston had an eye for beauty, he was a very devoted husband to Clementine. No worries there.

I guess he was just joking. Sometimes I'm humor-impaired, I admit!

You will be invited along after I get the other three on board.
BTW, I think my back nine would be a hoot as well, as long as the blonde gals don't fight over me. yeah right.

I'll have to bring a recorder to capture the conversation, and a child or two to discourage Ben!

Yes, even in old age, Ben didn't have trouble attracting the womenfolk. Though always a gentleman.

What a brain! I'm sure he'd have played golf, if he'd gone to Scotland instead of France.
