have a good way to keep your cat from killing the neighbor's birds?

Keep the vermin locked up indoors. You may argue that roaming is natural for vermin, but I would counter that killing and eating vermin is natural for dogs. Would that satisfy you if you vermin was killed by an unleashed dog?

My beloved cat of many years was killed by what you call dogs, but what I would instead call vermin. thanks for reminding me of this on Christmas eve.
