Well, Raycpa's remark did sound like something a DUmmie would say.

I must have been too subtle. If you notice, I left an absurdity within my post. It presumes the possible newbie/troll feeds his grandma cat food while feeding his cat bacon. The fine art of good sarcasm should be obvious if someone stops and thinks about what is written. Unfortunately, I must have been a little too subtle.

I didn't respond to you because I checked that you've been here for several years and would have been ZOTted. I love sarcasm, but sometimes people get p!ssed, so I often suffix a remark with: /sarcasm.

And when I rant, I use: /rant so I don't get flamed too badly if I'm not wearing my Nomex and tinfoil hat. LOL

BTW, Merry Christmas!

Naaaah. Have you noticed that almost every time someone posts a sarcasm piece from scrapple.com (or formerly from The Onion), they get a buncha replies taking the article quite literally? It makes me think that a higher percentage of FReepers are concrete thinkers than would be found in the general population.

By all means feed your cats raw bacon; its good for business. Besides, toxoplasmosis is much more prevalent than trichinella and cats are much more likely to get toxoplasmosis than trichinosis. Pancreatitis is really good for business, the cats have to be hospitalized for several days which means a good $3-400 bill at the least. Chronic pancreatitis means we can milk the client for a lot more because the cat comes in regularly. And...after the cat has had a nice fat bacon diet for an extended period of time it will become a diabetic so we get to see the cat monthly.

One more thing Ray...quit screwing with the newbies.
