One day, my cats were hungry and I didn't have anything in the house to feed them except raw bacon. They loved it! I continued to give them raw bacon each day and now it's their favorite food (they won't eat raw sausage, though). In fact, now they don't want anything else. I've tried different foods on them - vienna sausage, potted meat, canned mackerel, etc., but they want their bacon. Someone told me this might not be good for the cats, but they seem healthy. What do you think? I see cats on this sight sometimes when I surf, so maybe you know something here.
hehe!Merry Christmas! :^D
>"zero repies"<
what? no pies for Christmas?
that is truly sad...
:^D
BTW, Meek, my daughter just called me from New Orleans, and said it was snowing! How about you, did you get dusted?

BTW, Meek, my daughter just called me from New Orleans,
and said it was snowing! How about you, did you get dusted?Oh, yeah! We had a WHITE CHRISTMAS! ..... 3 days ago.
We got about an inch of snow on the 22nd.
We had a beautiful SUNNY day today for Christmas.
That's the neat thing about living in the sunbelt, sorta.
Monday: 75 degrees
Tuesday: 65 degrees (smoked a turkey on the outdoor grill)
Wednesday: Temperature drop, and we get 1" of snow
Thurs-Fri: Cold, just barely above freezing for high temps
Christmas: ~50 degrees, Sunny, hardly need a jacket.
did you get any snow?
My daughter call from New Orleans, and said it was snowing there.
smoked turkey...yummm.
45 dgrees, and raining steady here, on the drizzly Oregon coast. I was planning to go skiing next week, but no snow!
A sure sign of global warming, I'm sure...when you get snow in Texas!
;^)

The snow we got Wednesday was the first snow since Valentines Day this year.
A few pics from THAT day:
The parasite-thing is a non-issue to dogs. They're actually still wolves -- designer wolves, but wolves nonetheless and carnivores not omnivores ergo they need raw meat in their diets. They have an acidic system that kills the bad stuff -- but you still feed the same grades of meat you'd feed yourself -- unlike the 3D and 4D grades of meat in most grocery store dog food. Want to save money and have your dogs and cats live a longer life -- go raw -- but learn about it first -- they need the raw meat AND raw bones, too... NOT ever, ever cooked bones.
sounds like the dog has Cushings Syndrome.
Have a very Merry Christmas, backatcha!
B4 talked me into checking out the Crown Royal Special Reserve... by brother Pete-R-Bilt and I are just sitting around in awe.
He says aw... I say aw...
awwww...
>Were you leaving him alone? Springers do not like to be by themselves. They have a love for humans that I have never seen in any other breed<
I was a stay-at-home dog mom. He was a beautiful dog and I loved him very much but sadly I could not afford his eating habits. Now don't make me feel any worse than I already do about it, dwilli. Now I am looking for a gorgeous Boston Terrier to standard. Anyone have one for sale?
There's black dogsin every breed I suppose. Maybe I've been lucky with my picks from the litter.
I just have had great Springers. All they want in this world
is to be where I am and the necessities of life. I've got one
on both sides of me right just waiting for me to speak to them.
I like that phrase "designer wolves".
We took the wolf and made it look the way it appeals to our sense of what's cute or macho or whatever -- still a wolf, though. They do believe dogs with the upright ears have maintained most of their wolf instincts (German Shepards, Chihuahua, etc) but DNA says their ancestor is the Gray Wolf.
do not tenderize it ith asprin this guy is trying to get you to kill your cats.Aspirin kills cats. How could anyone be so sick as to want to kill something someone loves.
