"I could always send my kiddies over your way" LOL! Thanks for the thought, Mo, but that won't be necessary.
Dawn just called. They made it home. I laid down about 7:30 or so, and fell asleep. I just woke up. I need to take a shower and get in bed. I am NOT ready to go back to work in the morning.

I'm going to bail a little early tonight... Just got the kiddies in bed ... they are still on a high from Christmas
Plus it started snowing .. so they are bouncing off the walls even more
The weather dude says it won't be much snow ... so they'll be a tad disappointed in the morning
 Sweet Dreams Westie

Good to hear she and Tyler got home ok

They are still running stories here about all the bagage problems at the airport

Seems the Union folks called in sick on Christmas ... which lead to all the problems

There are a lot of pissed off folks because of this

Dawn was really worried about the luggage thing. They had everything crammed into bags they could carry on for the trip out here, but I had to give them another suitcase for the presents and they had to check that bag. There was luggage piled up at the Little Rock airport. She got their bag okay though.

She got their bag okay though. That's good news ...
They had one gal on saying he had been searching for her bags for 4 days
Then there was a soldier on leave that was heading back to Iraq who had a bunch of things that were request by his fellow soldiers ... his bags are lost too

I don't have any blue thingys, but I just poured myself a little of the clear stuff from the bottle I keep in the freezer. I'm exhausted!

I was just thinking about having a blue thingy before bed, but it isn't like I really need it, and I've already blown the calorie budget today this week with cookies, pineapple upside down cake, and ham, so I guess I'll just have a diet coke. I am now pondering what it is going to cost me to ship this giant size car to Colorado. Hope you had a nice Christmas.

Yes, we had a pretty nice Christmas. It's just always exhausting, though. And I've either misplaced or permanently lost my prescription glasses. i wear contact lenses, and often take my glasses and contact case with me when we're going to be gone for the day and into the evening. Well, when I started digging around for my glasses last night over at my sister in law's home, couldn't find 'em. I assumed that I'd only THOUGHT I'd brought them with me. Got home, can't find em. Called my sis in law, they hadn't found them, searched the car, searched the house, nowhere to be found.

Fortunately, I have an old pair, but the prescription is outdated. If the glasses don't turn up this week, I'll have to toddle on down to my optometrist's office and order a new pair. Hate to do it, though. They're so expensive. My lenses are a complicated prescription, and cost a small fortune. Oh well. I'm sure it's lonely now with Dawn and Tyler gone. I'm glad you had them for awhile.
